We offer FREE yoga, yoga teacher training programs, leadership programs and volunteer opportunities to teach our young leaders to lead by healthy example and express themselves in a positive and productive manner. Our leaders learn to teach peers through our program and also learn about community service.
Free Young Leadership Programs (Yoga, Meditation, Music, Arts)
There is constant motion in the outside world; whether it’s at school, or home, or even work. Some young leaders can get caught in that jumble, and easy everyday tasks become harder due to the stress of it all. That’s where our yoga classes come in. Our young leaders find answers to simple problems that seem greater than they are. Our future leaders thrive and flourish before your very eyes.

Costa Rica Young Leaders Retreat (Merit Scholarship based)
Imagine being surrounded by like-minded people, the same age group as you, in a beautiful area where you can learn things about yourself, about the other teens with you, and about how influential we are to the earth’s environment. Earning volunteer hours through environmental community service project, yoga everyday, and little activities to help you bond with the person next to you are all included in this special trip. When you go to Costa Rica, you leave your stress behind and focus on doing the best you can both for yourself and others. Up in the mountains of Costa Rica, everything is possible within yourself. You grow and experience things you might never be able to have in your everyday environment.

Bija Yoga teacher training provides merit scholarships to Student Leaders – helping them to “Be the Change”
We work to allow our young leaders to be empowered by learning to share yoga, breathing, and meditation with their peers. Imagine the confidence in being able to stand in front of a room of students and teach while in high school or college! What a gift. Student Leadership (camps, classes, volunteer work)
In a society where everything is so publicly judged, there are not a lot of positive role models out there. In our yoga program, we try to help students flourish into not only into leaders, but into leaders who spread the positive things and accept all that they can. We teach the students to build one another up and step up to lead whenever they can. The students begin to realize their influences on one another and try their best to spread the peace and the positive aspects that yoga has taught them. Each is almost transformed into a confident and secure person whose behavior impacts beneficially to all they come in contact with. Give Back! Serve! Volunteer!

YogaFest FL – Volunteer, Teach, Perform
The students of YogaFest are most definitely an important part of the biggest South Florida community event around. YogaFest is a group of thousands of people where they all come together as one to practice the beauty of yoga. The students earn volunteer hours by helping out in various ways. Some of our student teachers even taught the classes during the event while others contributed with live music. Each student brings a little help to the community, while practicing yoga and enjoying the community and diverse activities offered for the day.
